Test results suggest that Phiten’s highest level technology “METAX” has anti-anxiety effect
A fear conditioning test was carried out using mice that had been kept in a breeding cage equipped with Phiten’s unique technology “METAX” for 14 days, and the level of anxiety was evaluated by the time of freezing behavior (immobility). The 60-240 seconds of inactivity was reduced, it is suggesting that METAX has an anti-anxiety effect.

As a result of three years of joint development with NextGeM Inc., it was suggested that the Phiten environment may have some effect on the expression of intracellular molecules and enhance the efficacy of anticancer drugs.

Dr Balasekaran obtained his doctorate from the University of Pittsburgh, and he did his Post-Doctoral Fellowship in molecular genetics at the University of Pittsburgh with a renowned genetics professor. At present he is an Associate Professor, and his research projects include physiological responses in exercise and adaptations to health and sports performance, also investigating the influence of genetic factors on exercise related outcomes.
In 2020, Dr Balasekaran has conducted research on the effects of AQUATITAN. The aim of this study was to investigate the effects of AQUATITAN™ lower body compression garment on 50-m, 200-m, and 3000-m running performances.
